BumpDate: 26 Weeks

How Far Along: 26 Weeks…14 Weeks to Go!!!

Feeling: Relaxed!! I love being on Vacation. Being Pregnant and doing Nothing is a Great Combo!

Maternity ClothesYes. Although I have to be honest…I’m in total casual mode…and by casual I mean Underwear! I don’t think I’ve gotten dressed all week. Another perk of having nowhere to be!

Sleep: Sleep has been great…Ralph is finally feeling better, Yippee! So no more coughing throughout the night. Oh and did I mention I’m {BulletProof} I’ve been around him all week and NEVER got sick.

Best moment of the week? Finally getting to Kiss my Ral. I’ve missed those lips! And having Ralph fall asleep feeling Sophia kick...I can’t even put into words the Love he has for his little Girl already.  I can’t even write about it without tears streaming down my face. He is going to be the Best Daddy in the Whole World. Sophia is one lucky Girl!!

Movement: Always.

Food cravings: Not sure if it was a “craving” or “feeling” I woke up yesterday and it was COLD, like crisp Fall day cold, and I LOVED it. It’s no secret that Autumn is my favorite season, so I immediately thought of apple picking and Thanksgiving. Next thing you know I’m at Whole Foods buying a 20 pound turkey and all the fixings! Ralph came home to an entire Thanksgiving Feast and Apple Crisp! Needless to say he was HAPPY. It definitely got us in the “Fall Spirit” and that being the time Sophia will be here made it even more special. It was a Great Night!

Food aversions: Nothing

Belly button in or out? In

Rings off or on?: On

Goals for Next Week: I think I will just focus on my Goal for today…A grocery Delivery from Peapod for Sunday when we get back home! We have no food in our fridge. I threw it all out because I didn’t want everything to rot by the time we got back home on Saturday.

What I miss: Nothing this week…So loving being pregnant. Starting to question if this is going to get hard. Dare I say I may be one of those woman who “enjoy” being pregnant. I really don’t want to jinx myself but I have no complaints. I’ve had no major issues…No swelling, cravings, moodiness, aches, pains and everything else associated with being pregnant. Even the heat hasn’t been an issue, maybe because I’m in the central air constantly. I have no idea. Wondering if that day will ever come that I say “get this baby out of me.” SO far so good.

What I'm looking forward to:
Holding this baby girl.

Milestones:  We Booked our Venue for our Wedding in October of next Year! Super Excited and will be Super motivated to take of this Baby Weight!

Thoughts: LIFE IS GOOD, God is Great and I’m the Happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life! And for those that know me, I’ve always been happy…so this is some serious Happiness. So much so that I feel like I could burst.

BumpDate: 25 Weeks

How far along: 25 weeks…15 weeks to go!

Feeling: Really Great…If I’m in the Central Air. We have had a heat wave for the past week, thankfully I think it ends Saturday. Oh lucky us because we will then be greeted by Thunderstorms (Xanax for Mr.Joshy Cakes Puppy) although I can’t lie, I seriously LOVE New England Weather and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else…Just when you think you can’t take another hot day, Fall is in Full Swing.

Maternity ClothesYes. Although I only bought a few pieces…Some shorts, jeans, a skirt and a few tops. But honestly have still been living in sundresses! It’s been way too hot to wear anything but.

Sleep: Sleep has been great…minus the restless week last week; Ralph is no longer coughing throughout the night. Yippee

Best moment of the week? Today…I’m Officially on VACATION **which was actually 6 days ago...WOW I cant believe I have been on vacation for 6 days already!

Movement: Little Miss is a Wild one…It’s amazing that she is actually on a “schedule” or so I think, kicking around lunch time, the drive home 6pm and around 10pm…I think she just wakes up then for daddy to feel ;)

Food cravings: Nothing crazy, this whole “send your husband out at midnight for ring dings, pickles and ice-cream” seems to be a myth in my eyes….unless in the next 15 weeks it happens. I’m very curious to this…

Food aversions: Nothing…Although I got Clam Chowder from whole foods the other night and it suddenly hit me, “Can I even eat clams.” Before I could even investigate Ralph informs me, “It’s ok for you to eat Clam Chowder.” He had already looked it up…I can’t even stand how in Crazy Love I am with this man. He never seizes to amaze me.

Belly button in or out? In…Still Don’t believe this one either…even though I know it may be inevitable. One of those, you have to see it to believe it moments.

Rings off or on?: On

Goals for Next Week: Nothing…Im going to do nothing. Even though I say that Y’all know I will be super busy doing things for our little poppy girl. We just love her so. In fact I don’t think a day goes by that she isn’t the center of conversation. I think we both may be obsessed with her.

What I miss: My old body. Which I totally get it “Its only weight” and having Sophia healthy is totally worth gaining a Whopping POUND a week, but it will be nice to feel like me again!

What I'm looking forward to:
Spending time with my fiancé whom I’m kinda wicked crushing on lately. Don’t get me wrong, I always am…but I wonder if pregnancy hormones have anything to do with it…because I’m in some serious call him off the hook, acting like we just started dating, obsessive Love fit with RSV, like you read about!

Milestones:  That I blogged two days in a row…**Ok so I guess I really never got to this when I wrote it up on Friday. And I have been taking Chalkboard pictures, yet they sit in my Nikon. Downloading today...Truthfully by the end of the week ;)

Thoughts: I have so many, in fact I have been writing them down to get them out of my head. I keep on thinking I’m going to forget to do the many things on my list…The things that I think are so vitally important that they actually keep me up at night. If I was to read you this list you might laugh…In fact I will just share it with you…
  • Confirm Pottery Barn Delivery
  • Order Peapod Groceries
  • Finish Crib Skirt for Nursery
  • Make vet appointments for Dogs shots
  • Deposit checks
  • Full Foil/Trim
  • Wax Eyebrows
  • Vacuum House
Ya so I guess the magnitude of importance is not that great…and these rather simple tasks seem daunting because they have obviously affected my sleep, so it was nice to get them jotted down, I will surely be happy if I could erase these one by one this week. I love a clean slate with {{really}} nothing to do!

As you can see we are doing a WHOLE lot of Nothing... Joshy Cakes Chewing on his Bone...

BumpDate: 24 Weeks

Yes I realize I’m doing my 24th week Bumpdate a day before my 25th week Bumpdate. I have a good reason…well I have someone to blame…Ralph. Just kidding but really it is his fault…my poor lovie has been sick ALL week!! Like not fun at all sick, we’re talking up all night coughing, aching, full blown head cold sick, not to mention a lime sized lump on his head from bashing it against the truck while fixing something. Needless to say he is a train wreck this week…I of course have been nursing him back to health…actually Whole Foods has been. *Did I mention I love the hotbar!?! I think he is finally starting to feel better and the timing couldn’t be more right as we are going on Vacation tomorrow. I, my friends have the next 18 days off…I am so excited to take some time to r.e.la.x. We will be away for a week then home the following and I will be doing a whole lot of nothing.

How far along: 24 weeks…16 weeks to go!

Feeling: Tired (but I blame Ralph) not being pregnant ;)

Maternity ClothesYES! I wasn’t going to do it…I almost thought I was playing this exciting game of try and be pregnant and NEVER wear maternity clothes. But I talked to a “soon to be momma” friend whom is also having a baby girl whom is due around the same time!! and she told me about this pretty fabulous store called Destination Maternity and I couldn’t walk out empty handed…Did I mention they also have a SPA…I booked my first {Signature Mommy To Be} Massage  for next weekend and I CANT WAIT! Thanks Jill ;)

Sleep: Sleep has been great; I’m actually falling asleep later. There were a few months that I was out cold by 8p.m. actually for 22 weeks it has been like that…growing a baby is tiring.

Best moment of the week? Showing off my nursery ;) It’s not complete yet but I gave a few lovies a sneak peek. I’m hoping to have it complete in the next few weeks.

Movement: Yes tons…she is spicy.  I’m still in awe Every. Single. Time. She moves around, I can feel her pressing on my stomach when she flips around and actually see it against my belly, it gets really hard for a minute. At first I was nervous and thought something was “happening.” It is so surreal and magical at the same time. I think Ralph is shocked every time he feels her kick.
I was also able to hear her heartbeat at my dr's appointment and I have to say I love her heart!

Food cravings: None…maybe sweets ;)

Food aversions: Nothing

Belly button in or out? In

Rings off or on?: ON! I guess I never thought about this aspect…I will be sad the day I have to take off my big fat diamond. I LOVE my engagement ring…please fingers don’t get “Big”

Goals for Next Week: Organizing the kitchen, making room for baby goods. I want to have a drawer just for baby items and a cabinet for the same. Looks like “Sarah’s Baking Goods” label will be peeled off. *Gosh I love my label maker! And sign up for Prenatal Yoga!

What I miss: My bathing suits and cut off jean shorts. Trying to keep my head in the game and reassure myself that packing on the pounds is so worth it once Sophia is here.

What I'm looking forward to:
It is really, really starting to feel REAL and My next UltraSound which I believe is at 30 Weeks, hard to believe that is rapidly approaching then I will be saying 10 weeks to go!! That is what I’m so Looking forward to…oh and did I mention 18 DAYS OF VACATION!!! Starting tomorrow!

Milestones:  I think we have finally come to an agreement on Sophia’s middle name, yes I believe middle names are just as important as their first names…so what is it?!? It’s a surprise. ;)

Thoughts: I might be getting ahead of myself…but I’m already thinking about BABY #2! Yes crazy I know…I’m so obsessed with our growing family; we have even talked about another dog. Could you imagine…3 dogs, two kids and US! Heaven! Right now we will put all our focus into little miss…but oh how tempting to turn the third room into a little boy’s {sailing} nursery ;)
